Rounder/Philo artist Tanya Savory has gained
national attention and critical acclaim in the past several years. Her
songwriting, combining the best elements of folk, country, and bluegrass,
has won numerous awards including Kerrville, MerleFest, and Napa Valley.
Her new CD, "Where We Live," (released Feb. 5, 2002) features
guest artists Kate Campbell, Missy Raines and Jim Hurst, and twice Grammy
nominated bluegrass great, Claire Lynch. Take it from Cheryl Wheeler who
says: " Tanya really writes good songs; really thoughtful, wise and
sincere songs. I'm a fan."
She performs with Kim House, her friend and keyboard player.
